Sometimes it is as simple as location, dates available and rates but most of the time, there's more when you choose the artist for you. I am often chosen by clients who seek beautiful, personalized and balanced makeup looks anything from a bold glam to soft natural style to a minimal no makeup makeup looks. I have extensive understanding of variation of makeup styles, techniques, skin types and skin tones across all ages. I learned complexion techniques in fashion and beauty where skin matters the most and creates a perfected canvas for any makeup style: for example full or soft glam to natural or neutral makeup looks. These are some of the most requested looks in occasion makeup.

If I were to choose one makeup era which I love the most I would have to say the 80's. Bold, sassy, high energy, artistic, vibrant, playful, rule breaking, unexpected. That's where my inspiration is born, after all I am an 80's girl and a millennial. 

How do I decide a makeup style?

Open and honest communication is the key when you sit in my chair. This is your safe place to explain to me about your vision and I will guide and inspire you with my knowledge further. This is about you and what makes you delighted at the end when you look in the mirror. I encourage clients to have a rough idea or references what and why a makeup look speaks to you. Is it the sculpted features? The skin like skin finish? The Full glam? Smoky eye? The pop of colour? The graphic liner?  I will ask extensive list of questions in the beginning of the service to understand what you desire and check in with you during the application process. 

You don't have to know anything about makeup or what style you like either. Sometimes the best work I have done is when client trusts me completely to design a look based in their features, personality, occasion and outfit. Other times you might know how you like your makeup done and it helps me to create your face for you. Bear in mind  that when made by professional the result will reflect that and differ accordingly.
